WATA's beloved scraper driver of 10 plus years, one of the original founders of MMOGTA and people mover driver, Tony Simon, has been diagnosed with throat cancer and is in Spectrum Hospital in Grand Rapids.
A benefit is going to be held for him on May 14, 2011 at the Wheatland Township Park in Remus.
The benefit will begin at 1:00 pm with lunch at 3:00 pm.
There will be 50/50 drawings and an auction.
Please come join us to help get Stroh's Man back on his feet and on the road to recovery. The family needs all the support you can give and then some!!
There is one rule change to be noted for the 2011 pulling year at WATA...
For all classes UP TO and also INCLUDING the 4000 lb weight class, the MAXIMUM Originally Equipped Cubic Inches allowed will be 230 cu.in. For example an Oliver 88 is originally equipped with 231 cu.in., so they will not be allowed to pull in the 4000 class and under.
Any questions regarding this or any other of the rules for WATA please contact Rich Simon or Matt Sellers
